Candidates from the Preparatory Course and pupils of St. Paul’s School return to school ready to take on new challenges and further expand their learning, following the well-deserved end-of-year break.
The second semester of the Prep Course marks a period of deeper academic engagement, with the introduction of a more robust and diversified curriculum. New subjects are introduced, such as Global Perspectives and Computer Science, alongside new teachers and a new routine within the Scholarship Programme Selection Process. This stage is supported by dozens of volunteers whose commitment makes the development of the classes possible and further enriches the candidates’ experience. From this point onwards, students attend St. Paul’s three times a week, intensifying their learning, study routines and preparation for the final selection stage.

At the same time, all St. Paul’s pupils resumed their activities in February, including our scholarship holders. While candidates remain focused on preparing for the opportunity to be awarded a scholarship, Senior School students continue their studies and progress towards the completion of another academic year at the school. This year, seven scholarship holders in Upper 6th complete their journey at St. Paul’s and graduate as part of the Class of 2026.
The beginning of the semester also marks the transition of student leadership roles, the Prefects. In recent years, scholarship holders have consistently taken part in the Sixth Form student representative body, and this term we are pleased to have Analú acting as Arts Prefect. This achievement highlights how the scholarship opens doors not only for students to be part of the school community, but also to contribute actively, inspiring and encouraging others within St. Paul’s.
Between new beginnings and farewells, the semester reflects the strength of a community that learns, grows and inspires. Each candidate who advances in their preparation and each scholarship holder who embraces new challenges reinforces the meaning of this new period of growth, learning and achievement for everyone involved.
