We are proud to share that two of our scholars, Fernando and Rafaela, have been selected as prefects in this 2024–2025 academic year — a prestigious leadership role within the pupil body at St. Paul’s School.
Fernando has been appointed as the new STEAM Prefect, while Rafaela takes on the role of Pastoral Prefect. As prefects, they serve not only as representatives and leaders among their peers but also as role models, upholding the values expressed in our school’s Code of Honour.
In her new position, Rafaela shared that, for her, “being honest and respectful to your peers needs to be taken both inside and outside the classroom” and helping pupils uphold these values is one of her aims as Pastoral prefect.
Fernando, meanwhile, has extended his leadership by tutoring younger scholars in Maths and Physics and recently led a Senior School assembly during Maths Week.
This is not the first time our scholars have earned this distinction. Ana Bido was the first scholar to be appointed a prefect as Sports Prefect. Last year, Claudia and Mariana also took on leadership roles.
Prefectship is not only a mark of recognition — it also requires dedication and resilience. These pupils take on significant responsibilities on top of their academic commitments, and we applaud their continued efforts to contribute to our school community.
