In 2026, St. Paul’s School celebrates an extraordinary milestone as it marks 100 years of existence. Over the past century, the school has built a legacy defined by academic excellence, innovation, and a strong commitment to shaping young people who are prepared to contribute positively to the world. More than a historical celebration, this moment also represents an opportunity to look ahead and expand the positive impact of the paulean community.

As part of the celebrations, the school is hosting a series of events throughout the year. The centenary programme officially began in February, the month of St. Paul’s anniversary, with two launches: the Centenary Book and the Historical Exhibition.

To mark the occasion, more than 500 guests were invited to a special cocktail reception at the school, set in a light and festive atmosphere. The campus took on a new ambience, complete with a red carpet and themed décor. The programme also featured piano performances by St. Paul’s students, making the event even more memorable.

The book and exhibition were launched following extensive research, bringing together historical records, photographs, and significant moments that tell the story of the school’s growth since its founding in 1926. The exhibition, displayed throughout the corridors of St. Paul’s, invites students, Old Pauleans, and members of the community to revisit this shared history and recognise the people and values that have shaped the school over the past century.

Among the values that run throughout this journey is a commitment to expanding access to a world-class education. Long before the creation of the St. Paul’s Foundation, the school was already supporting students through scholarship initiatives. Over the years, various programmes were developed to broaden access to the St. Paul’s curriculum. These include the Boyes Scholarship Fund, aimed at families facing temporary financial difficulties in meeting school fees, and the Vestey Scholarship Fund, designed for students who demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.

The centenary celebrations have also opened the door to a renewed vision for the future. As one of its key legacies, the school has launched the Centenary Donor Fund, created to expand the educational impact of St. Paul’s through its Scholarship Programme. By supporting the long-term sustainability of scholarships, the fund enables more young people to access the opportunities offered by the school and, therefore, promotes a richer school environment through the exchange of experiences and achievements, benefiting the entire community.

Throughout 2026, a range of events will continue to mark this special celebratory season. Each gathering will be an opportunity to honour the past, strengthen community bonds, and build, together, the next chapter in the history of St. Paul’s.
