Maria Rita Drummond is a St. Paul’s Foundation Board member and mother of two St. Paul’s School pupils. She holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC), a postgraduate degree in Civil Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), and a Master’s degree in International Law from the London School of Economics (LSE). Maria Rita worked as an executive at Cosan for 18 years, serving as Vice President responsible for Legal, Governance, and Compliance from 2020 to 2026. She served on the boards of Rumo S.A. (2020–2025), Comgás S.A. (2020–2024), and Compass (2024–2025), as well as on the National Financial System Appeals Council (CRSFN) from 2019 to 2022.
