Instituto Achè Cultural’s Rooftop5 in São Paulo set the stage for the official launch of the new St. Paul’s Foundation scholarship programme, on 12th November. Organised by the St. Paul’s Foundation and the school’s Parents and Teachers Association (PTA), the event "Let’s Rooftop - St. Paul’s Cocktail party" received around 300 guests and offered over 20 prizes.
The night was a success and helped to raise funds for the scholarship programme for gifted children living in Brazil. A group of Senior School pupils volunteered themselves to talk about the foundation and to sell the raffle tickets during the cocktail. All the St. Paul’s community - parents, pupils, teachers, board members and alumni – had a great time socialising over a beautiful city view.
“Not only did we have the chance to raise more funds to receive our first scholars, but we also raised the awareness and support for this initiative”, said James Wilkinson, chair of the St. Paul’s Foundation. “We would like to thank all the volunteers for their hard work and all the donors for their generosity”, he added.
