As part of the St. Paul’s School curriculum, pupils have access to numerous extracurricular and Enrichment activities. Our current scholars have taken advantage of these opportunities and participated in many different groups and initiatives.

One of those is the Rowing Club, a tradition at St. Paul’s School that was brought back this school year after a short break. Four scholars joined the club — it’s their first time rowing! — and they shared with us how their journey has been.

For Giordano, a Form 4 pupil, the “experience in the rowing club has been a wonderful opportunity to practice a sport which involves focus, teamwork, and the joy of being close to the water. In addition to the physical benefit of rowing, it also helps us strengthen our collaborative skills.”

Victor, a 12 y.o. in Form 2, highlights that he feels very peaceful when he’s rowing. He has also learned about the importance of teamwork and respecting others, coaches and even himself.

“When I’m rowing in a group, the phrase ‘one for all, all for one’ always comes to mind, this synchrony of everyone working together for the same goal is really cool”, says Victor.
