Another school year comes to a close, and we celebrate a cycle filled with progress, achievements, and moments that reinforce the transformative impact of the  St. Paul’s Foundation work. Over this past academic year, we have strengthened our commitment to delivering a world-class education and renewed our mission to open doors to unique opportunities and transform lives.

The year began with the arrival of 15 new scholars, bringing the total number of supported pupils in the Senior School to 40. We were delighted to welcome this group at the traditional welcome barbecue in August, which served as an important moment of integration among pupils, their families, and the school community.

Throughout the year, some of our scholars had a variety of opportunities for academic and cultural immersion. They took part in summer courses at renowned international institutions, joined exchange programmes with pupils from the United Kingdom (Global Exchange), and were selected for experiences such as the Harvard MLAB, representing the school in intellectually challenging and inspiring environments.

We also hosted fundraising events that broadened the visibility of the Scholarship Programme and demonstrated the strong support of our community—support that is essential to fulfilling our mission. The Annual Cocktail featured a musical performance and a charity auction for special experiences, such as a Tea Party with the Headmaster. The fun and competitive Quiz Night, now in its third edition, brought together more than 120 participants, including parents, Old Pauleans, and guests.

Within our selection processes, the 2024–2025 cohort concluded with 15 new pupils joining the Senior School, marking St. Paul’s School’s achievement of reaching its goal of 50 scholarship pupils in time for the school’s centenary. Spread across the Senior School (from Form 1 to Upper 6th), these young minds benefit from an excellent international education while enriching the community with their diverse stories, perspectives, and talents.

In parallel, the 2025–2026 Selection Process, launched in February this year, included updated criteria for age and family income, further expanding the social impact of our Programme. The selection attracted 140 applicants between the ages of 11 and 13, of whom 21 are set to begin the Preparation Course this coming August.

As the result of a journey marked by dedication and success, our four scholars from the Class of 2025 celebrated their graduation from St. Paul’s and secured places at leading universities such as Columbia, the University of Chicago, the University of Notre Dame (USA), and the University of Manchester (UK). This is a chapter in our history that always fills us with pride and demonstrates the power of our support network, from selection all the way to access to global opportunities.

Looking back at the events of 2024–2025 is not only to reflect on milestones but also to see the materialisation of collective work capable of driving real and lasting change. We thank every supporter, family member, volunteer, and donor who made this journey possible.

In the new academic year, we will continue with even more energy: welcoming new scholars and candidates, embracing new experiences, and moving forward with the conviction that we are ever stronger in our purpose to transform more lives through an excellent international education.
