During the last year, we have been able to return with events to the St. Paul’s Foundation calendar. With that came generous donations that have helped our scholarship programme remain strong and healthy over the past year.

Among some of these special initiatives, we can mention the ‘Gift-a-Girl’ event, in May 2022, where guests were able to reflect on the positive impact of a scholarship on the life of a girl and her family from the conversation among three special guests: St. Paul’s Deputy Head, Zeba Clarke, Ana Claudia, Foundation scholar and the deputy and former scholarship holder Tabata Amaral.
The ‘Cup of Joy’ initiative was also another success. It emerged from a partnership with a local coffee shop, Um Coffee Co., which roasts its coffee beans. This partnership was present during the International Day at St. Paul’s.

In addition to these opportunities, we also rely on the support of our donors. Nearly 100 families have actively supported us over the last year with one-off or monthly donations to the scholarship programme.

Elvio and Luciana, parents at the school and also donors, say that for them, it is “rewarding as parents to raise our children in a school that defends these values, that works to create opportunities for bright and hard-working young people.”

In addition to financial support, we can also count on our community’s warm welcome to new members – the families of our scholars. Iara, a mother at the school and PTA representative, says that, for her, “the families are already part of the St. Paul’s community. I am happy to welcome such wonderful people. They are assets to the school and will always have my support.”

The St. Paul’s Foundation Scholarship Programme aims to provide a unique educational opportunity for talented children living in São Paulo whose family income threshold shows they could not otherwise afford an education at St. Paul’s School.
