Partnerships for the St. Paul’s Foundation are a great way to spread the word about our scholarship programme to potential future candidates. Through partnerships with NGOs such as Ismart and Cidadão Pró Mundo, our programme has already received a few candidates who are now scholars in St. Paul’s.

Ismart’s partnership with St. Paul’s Foundation started in 2018 and so far, three pupils have been contemplated by it. Franciele Silva, who works at Ismart, shared: “The possibility to offer more of this opportunity to pupils who are interested in exploring their potential is only possible through this partnership. We’re very proud that, year after year, we continue to dedicate ourselves to this special project so that more “ismartians” have the chance to dream high.”

One of our current scholars, Analú, learned about the scholarship programme through the English lessons she was taking at Cidadão Pró Mundo. About her experience, she says: “Cidadão Pró Mundo ou CPM is an NGO that teaches English for free, focusing on students from public schools who cannot afford lessons. I started taking lessons there in 2019, when I was only 10 years old, and learned about the scholarship programme through a talk where they explained more about the selection process. I fell in love and talked about it with my mom. We were both hesitant but now, that it’s real, it’s almost hard to believe”, stated Analú.

Currently, St. Paul’s Foundation has 18 scholars in school, and four of them learned about this opportunity through the NGOs they were a part of.
